Objectives

The "Beyond the Surface" project aims to increase young people's awareness of mental health and develop their skills in building psychological resilience, creatively expressing emotions, and using art and digital technologies in depression prevention. The project will provide young people with innovative educational tools, such as podcasts, workshop scenarios, infographics, QR codes, and artistic exhibitions in cultural and art centers.

Activities

3 LTTA trainings – development of competencies for 15 youth workers in the fields of mental health, art therapy, and digital tools. 3 ME events – participation of 45 young people (aged 18-25) in workshops where they will create podcasts and artistic works illustrating the two faces of depression. "Two Faces of Depression" exhibition – organization of art exhibitions in cultural centers. Dissemination of results – QR codes, the "I Fight Depression" app, media collaboration, and promotion.

Impact

15 podcasts on youth mental health. 3 artistic exhibitions “Two Faces of Depression” in cultural centers. 45 artworks illustrating the issue of hidden depression. 18 infographics on mental health and the impact of social media. 12 workshop scenarios. QR codes linking to educational resources and the I Fight Depression app. Reaching 15,000 people through media and events. Raising awareness of hidden forms of depression in public spaces and online.
