▶Objectives
The project “Wood Work in Youth Work” addresses key challenges in environmental education, social inclusion and the improvement of youth work. The project promotes innovative methods of non-formal education by using woodwork as a tool to develop manual skills, creativity and design thinking among young people. The introduction of educational tools made from recycled wood allows organizations to implement new working methods.
▶Activities
#Training of at least 20 educators and trainers #Development of at least 10 blueprints for educational tools #Development of 10 new educational workshop scenarios #Creation of e-publications with methodology and educational materials #Testing the educational tools in practice. The trainees will work with young people and test the developed educational tools in real-life situations. #Increase in the educators' competence in environmental and manual education

* Development of manual, creative and technical skills of young people and the competence of educators in ecology and working with wood. * Raising the environmental awareness of young people through working with recycled materials. * Involving young people from different backgrounds through cooperation and common goals. * Developing new workshop scenarios and educational tools that will be available to other organizations. * Testing educational tools in practice and adapting them to real needs.
