Objectives

The CO-A-CH-IN-G project focuses on reducing the risk of youth exclusion from long-term volunteer programs due to the insufficient consideration of their specific needs by implementing innovative crisis management methods. By combining coaching with comprehensive support, it equips youth workers and volunteers with key competencies to help them overcome economic, social, and psychological barriers and build a European identity.

Activities

The main actions of the he CO-A-CH-IN-G project are: 1. Development and implementation of educational materials: a guide for staff and a guide and videos for young volunteers. 2. Development and implementation of the innovative COACHING Crisis Aid course with an exam standard. 3. Development and implementation of an innovative Crisis Aid COACHING process for youth in difficult life situations. 4. Evaluation and dissemination of results.

Impact

The CO-A-CH-IN-G project offers an innovative COACHING CrisisAid program for youth workers, focused on supporting young volunteers in crisis. The results will also include a pilot blended learning course for volunteers, which will help them acquire new skills. As a result, the project will contribute to supporting youth involved in long-term volunteerism, reducing the risk of their exclusion from these programs.
