Objectives

Mind the Gap aims to support adults experiencing or at risk of burnout by developing an innovative capacity-building program that integrates tailored nature-based physical activities to foster mental well-being, enhance cognitive functions, and build resilience through peer support groups. The project supports adults in re-engaging with education or employment while maintaining a healthy work-life-environment balance.

Activities

Mind the Gap includes the following main activities: - Project Management and Transnational Cooperation, including 2 transnational management meeting and event - Co-designing Mind the Gap Capacity Building Program, including a transnational working meeting - Pilot implementation of Mind the Gap at local level - Co-designing Mind the Gap Awareness Campaign - National and Transnational Webinar

Impact

By the end of the project we will have the following main tangible results: - ‘Mind the Gap’ Capacity Building Guidelines – A structured, replicable methodology integrating nature-based activities, cognitive resilience-building, and peer support strategies to support burnout prevention/recovery. - Awareness Campaign – Open-access materials to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and encourage prevention/early intervention. - Project Website – A digital hub offering tools and educational materials.
