▶Objectives
The project aims to promote improvisational arts in adult education to foster creativity, social inclusion, and civic engagement. It will train educators, cultural professionals, and youth workers to integrate improvisation into educational programs, enhancing emotional intelligence and problem-solving. The project will focus on providing inclusive learning for socially vulnerable groups, including migrants and refugees, across Portugal, Latvia, and the Netherlands.
▶Activities
The project will implement training programs for educators and professionals in Portugal, Latvia, and the Netherlands, develop a Methodological Toolkit, and create an online platform for resource sharing. The main event, the Total Improv Festival, will take place in Portugal, demonstrating improvisation techniques. Dissemination activities, including conferences and workshops, will share results via social media and the platform, ensuring broad access to outcomes across the three countries.
▶Impact
The project will lead to broader use of improvisation in adult education, enhancing communication, creativity, and collaboration. At least 100 educators and professionals will be trained, and resources will be available on the online platform. The results include increased social inclusion, improved intercultural dialogue, and the creation of a professional community advocating for arts-based, inclusive education. Sustainability will be ensured through continued dissemination and networking.
