The CircuVET project aims to integrate circular economy skills into Vocational Education and Training (VET) programs, enhancing both professional competencies and key soft skills. By fostering sustainable practices, the project seeks to prepare learners for green jobs and facilitate the transition of VET organizations into sustainable ecosystems. Ultimately, it aims to promote lifelong learning and adapt VET curricula to meet evolving labor market needs.

The project will implement a series of activities, including the Mapping, Development of a comprehensive framework for circular economy skills, Pilot trainings for target groups and sharing of project results. Key activities involve creating training programs, organizing events for stakeholders, and engaging in outreach through various communication channels. Additionally, partnerships will be established to promote collaboration among VET organizations, SMEs, and local authorities.

The results include developed circular economy skills and competencies among VET learners, increased collaboration between educational institutions and industries, and a broader understanding of circular economy principles. The project aims to promote micro-credentials for participants and a sustainable framework for ongoing VET adaptations. Additionally, the CircuVET project will raise awareness of green jobs and contribute to environmental protection efforts at local, national and EU levels.
