ā–¶Objectives

MIND-SET expands the European Supported Employment model by integrating Augmented Supported Employment (ASE) to improve labour market inclusion for individuals with severe mental illness (SMI). The project will develop career counselling guidelines to address employment challenges and enhance job coaching. It will train 28 professionals to apply these guidelines and expand qualification opportunities for VET providers and trainers, strengthening the support network for SMI-inclusive employment.

ā–¶Activities

To achieve these objectives, the project will: • Expand the European Supported Employment model to integrate mental health-informed career counselling. • Develop career counselling guidelines for professionals supporting individuals with SMI. • Develop a methodological guide for VET trainers to establish sustainable qualification pathways for career counsellors. • Deliver blended training sessions to equip professionals with skills and strategies for tailored employment support.

ā–¶Impact

MIND-SET will produce: • An enhanced European Supported Employment model, integrating Augmented Supported Employment (ASE) methodologies. • Career counselling guidelines to help professionals support the job integration of individuals with SMI. • A project website to share information, tools, and best practices. • Blended training sessions in Portugal and Romania, strengthening professional capacity. • Two multiplier events and a social media campaign to share findings and expand project impact.
