SAFELAB aims to improve VET providing teachers with trauma-informed practices to support students affected by Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs). The project will offer structured training, workshops, and resources to create inclusive, emotionally supportive learning environments. Through awareness campaigns and community engagement, SAFELAB promotes inclusive education, equal opportunities, and long-term improvements in VET.
▶Activities
The SAFELAB project has the following activities: -Project Management -2 transnational project meetings (TPM) in Lithuania and Greece -The production of an eHandbook -2 trainings based on trauma-informed education -1 Awareness Campaign on Mental Health and Trauma -1 Infoday per partnering country -Impact and Dissemination

-Improved skills in understanding and supporting trauma-affected students. -Implementation of supportive practices in VET institutions. -Greater understanding of trauma and ACEs among educators and the community. -Better academic and personal growth for marginalized students. -Systemic changes through community engagement in mental health and trauma awareness. -The the Trauma Informed Practice e-Handbook.
