Objectives

SAFE Rural aims to enhance emergency preparedness and first aid knowledge in rural areas by developing accessible, inclusive, and innovative training programs. It seeks to empower rural residents, caregivers, and volunteers with essential first aid skills through a blended learning approach combining digital tools and practical training.

Activities

SAFE Rural will implement a blended first aid training program, combining an interactive e-learning platform with hands-on community-based workshops to equip rural residents with essential emergency response skills. It will conduct pilot testing with local volunteers, caregivers, and first responders, ensuring practical application and feedback integration.

Impact

SAFE Rural will result in an inclusive first aid training curriculum tailored for rural communities, accessible via an interactive e-learning platform and in-person workshops. It will create a network of trained community first responders, enhancing emergency preparedness and reducing response times in remote areas.
