SustainEd transforms HEIs into sustainability-driven institutions by integrating sustainability education, digital tools, and institutional strategies. It equips students, faculty, and decision-makers with the skills and resources to implement sustainability initiatives. Through assessments, action plans, and digital resources, the project strengthens governance, curricula, and operations while fostering cross-institutional collaboration and student leadership.
▶Activities
SustainEd will implement SDG workshops, digital training modules, and sustainability leadership programs for students and faculty. It will develop SDG audits, institutional action plans, and digital resources to embed sustainability in HEI governance and curricula. Student-led projects, mentorship programs, and the SDG Champions Network will foster engagement. The project will also host an online SDG Resource Hub and an Annual SustainEd Conference to ensure impact and knowledge-sharing.
▶Impact
SustainEd will produce practical tools for HEIs, including sustainability assessment frameworks, action plans, and interactive learning resources. It will enhance institutional capacity through faculty training and leadership development while empowering students through hands-on sustainability projects. The project will establish a cross-border SDG Champions Network, promote long-term policy integration, and create scalable models for sustainability-driven education across Europe.
