▶Objectives
WOW project aims to develop leadership among young women, focusing on sustainability, circular economy, and gender equality. The main objectives include improving their knowledge in sustainability, fostering community-based leadership, integrating gender perspectives in decision-making, and building a supportive WOW Sustainability Network. These goals are designed to enhance the leadership skills of young women and youth workers.
▶Activities
The project will implement several key activities, including the establishment of a digital ecosystem for continuous collaboration, structuring a mentoring programme, and conducting mentor training workshops. Additional activities include supporting the implementation of community intervention plans, running the GameChanger campaign to engage young women in sustainability practices, and organising the "Grow and Wow" festival to showcase their achievements.
▶Impact
The expected results of the project include the creation of the WOW Sustainability Network, engaging at least 120 participants. A fully structured mentoring programme will be implemented, with mentors trained and equipped to support young young women. Community intervention actions will be initiated and completed by at least 60 girls, and the project will culminate in the "Grow and Wow" festival.
