The TACT project aims to enhance the skills and competencies of staff at Tourism Support Organizations (TSOs) to improve accessibility in rural tourism and heritage sites. By providing training, mentorship, and digital resources, the project fosters inclusive tourism development and empowers local stakeholders to implement sustainable accessibility solutions.

โ–ถActivities

TACT will include training programs, mentorship networks, digital learning platforms, study visits, and pilot workshops across partner regions. It will conduct needs assessments, curriculum development, and capacity-building activities for TSOs and tourism professionals. The project will also promote policy recommendations and awareness campaigns on inclusive tourism.

โ–ถImpact

TACT will produce a replicable accessibility training curriculum, an online learning platform, trained tourism professionals, and a sustained mentorship network. It will strengthen cross-border cooperation, enhance accessibility standards, and support the long-term inclusion of people with disabilities in rural tourism experiences.
