The Objectives of the project are: 1. To enhance the governance capacities of local policymakers and entrepreneurs to foster sustainable tourism management. 2. To foster skills in practices for the digital transformation of tourism management in micro-destinations. 3. To develop C-VET pathways that enhance destination branding, digital storytelling, and adaptive strategies for sustainable and seasonal tourism transitions in micro-destinations.

โ–ถActivities

The project activities focus on empowering local policymakers and entrepreneurs in micro-destinations through Continuing Vocational Education and Training (C-VET). Key actions include developing governance training curricula, workshops on participatory decision-making, and peer-learning exchanges. It will also pilot collaborative digital solutions, create strategies for extending tourism seasons, and implement branding initiatives to foster sustainable tourism.

โ–ถImpact

The results the project will be achieving are: - A C-VET curriculum for governance training in micro-destinations - A network of upskilled policymakers, community leaders, civil servants and entrepreneurs equipped with governance skills is developed. - An Open Educational Resource (OER) toolkit for governance training in tourism - A cross-sectoral C-VET approach to green and digital tourism transitions - continuing VET modules on strategies for extending the tourism season .
