Objectives

The project will develop and implement innovative training to promote a herd-level approach in young professionals of veterinary, agricultural and environmental sciences. By equipping them with the necessary skills to apply sustainable and climate-resilient agriculture management practices, AGRIMED C will support the EU’s goals for sustainable agriculture, climate and public health resilience, opening a dialogue with policymakers to raise awareness about climate and public health sustainability.

Activities

Through co-creation methods AGRIMED C will produce an interdisciplinary training curriculum offered through an e-learning platform with gamification and AI-driven scenarios. Open and multilingual access will be ensured for training materials and tools. A “Train-the-Trainers” workshop and pilot testing will inform educators and young professionals respectively on the training program. Policy recommendations will be formulated to ensure alignment with EU policies and industry needs.

Impact

AGRIMED C will improve knowledge and skills of young professionals in veterinary medicine, animal science and livestock management, agricultural sciences/agronomy and environmental sciences through an open access multilingual interactive e-learning platform developed through co-creation. Training will focus on herd health management strategies, antimicrobial resistance, food safety, zoonotic disease control, environmental sciences and digital technology, climate and public health resilience.
