Objectives

Increase understanding of young people (13–17) of the risks associated with gambling and improve their financial literacy skills. Create a game that addresses gambling prevention, critical thinking, financial literacy and online behaviors. Increase the capacity and equip youth workers and educators with game-based learning strategies and resources to engage and guide young people Raise public awareness and encourage broader community involvement in prevention efforts.

Activities

WP2 – Focus Groups with 75 young participants; Analyze data and compile into a multilingual report, and disseminate the findings. WP3 – Develop an interactive educational game; Deliver a 5-day LTTA to train staff. Create a training manual; and launch an online platform featuring a story-based teaser game. WP4 – Organize a 5-day mobility for young people, conduct local workshops for youth workers and for young people, hold major multiplier events, and run online awareness campaigns.
