▶Objectives
DAMET project aims to enhance digital competences among adult educators through AI tools and micro-credentialing, empowering them to integrate innovative technologies into teaching. Through the development and implementation of a micro-credentialing system, project establishes pathways for educators to continuously develop their professional skills, enhances the digital literacy and ensures that adult learning environments are adaptable, innovative and responsive to rapid changes in technology.
▶Activities
DAMET will conduct transnational meetings, develop an e-learning program supporting AI usage in education, create a digital competency platform complete with a micro-credential recognition system that will formalize the acquisition of these new competencies, offer "train-the-trainers" workshops, pilot the program with educators to integrate AI tools effectively in adult education & deliver multiplier events & dissemination in partner countries.
▶Impact
DAMET expects to improve educators' digital skills (A2.3 e-learning program), establish a micro-credentialing recognition system for professional development (A3.3 & A3.4) on DAMET web web platform (A2.4) and enhance teaching with AI tools through training's, workshops and piloting (A4.2, A4.3&A4.4). It aims for broader adoption of digital competencies in adult education, impacting adult educators, learners, and the education system at large.
