Improve the school climate and reduce problematic student behavior at SZŠ Rozmanita by implementing PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports), a key tool for inclusive education. With the support of our Czech partner, Society for All, we will train educators, develop methodological materials, establish a PBIS impact monitoring system, adapt the PBIS methodology for preschools, and promote the approach to other Slovak schools.

The project includes training for educators and support staff in PBIS, the pilot implementation of PBIS at SZŠ Rozmanita, and regular mentoring by SOFA experts during the rollout. It also involves adapting the methodology to the Slovak context and preschool settings and systematic monitoring of results. Finally, the project will conduct an evaluation of PBIS implementation at SZŠ Rozmanita and disseminate findings to other schools, educational institutions, and policymakers.

The project will bring positive changes in student behavior, deepen inclusion in student groups, and improve the overall school climate. It will train teachers and support staff at SZŠ Rozmanita, establish PBIS as a long-term part of the school environment, and create a methodological guide for other schools. It will adapt the PBIS methodology for preschools, strengthen SOFA’s collaboration with Slovak educational institutions, and enhance the partnership between SOFA and SZŠ Rozmanita.
