Objectives

The project aims to develop and implement a European-wide mentoring certification system based on Open Badges, ensuring that mentoring skills are recognized by employers, training institutions, and policymakers. It will provide accessible, high-quality training for mentors, integrating career management skills (CMS), digital learning tools, and AI-driven personalization. Ultimately, the project will lay the foundation for future national and European accreditation of mentoring skills.

Activities

-Co-designing mentoring training content with stakeholders. -Developing an AI-enhanced digital learning platform with Open Badges. -Pilot-testing mentoring programs across France, Ireland, and Slovakia. -Engaging policymakers and industry partners to align with national and European frameworks. -Disseminating results through social media, academic publications, EPALE, and major conferences. -Establishing a sustainability plan, including a dedicated association for long-term impact.

Impact

-A structured mentoring curriculum with Open Badges certification. -A fully operational digital platform supporting training, assessment, and certification. -Recognition of mentoring skills by employers, training providers, and policymakers. -A strategic roadmap for national accreditation (e.g., RNCP in France) and Europass recognition. -The creation of an association to ensure long-term platform sustainability and certification expansion
