Our project aims to enhance climate education and sustainability practices in schools by developing innovative teaching methodologies, creating interdisciplinary lesson plans, and fostering a culture of environmental responsibility among students and educators. Participants will be empowered to lead climate initiatives, integrate sustainable practices into school curricula, and extend these benefits to the broader community through collaborative efforts.
▶Activities
We will organize a series of collaborative workshops, site visits, and hands-on projects focused on sustainable living, water and waste management, and integrating climate topics into education. These activities will include developing interdisciplinary lesson plans, creating educational materials, conducting environmental awareness campaigns, and organizing webinars and seminars to share best practices within schools and the broader community.
▶Impact
We aim to develop comprehensive lesson plans, educational materials, and sustainability guides that will be integrated into school curricula. The project will enhance environmental awareness among students and teachers, with at least 75% of participants adopting new sustainable practices. Additionally, broader community engagement through workshops and seminars is expected, leading to lasting improvements in environmental education and practices.
