▶Objectives
The main objective of CARBODIGIPARD project is to contribute to the development of the knowledge and skills of IPARD enterprises in the food, agriculture and livestock sector about their carbon footprints using digital tools which is in line with the European Green Deal specified under the Environment and Fight Agaınst Climate Change priority of Erasmus+ Programme, and to ensure that enterprises are prepared for the Green Deal’s CBAM requirements by strengthening the “Zero Carbon” perception.
▶Activities
The partners, consisting of 3 universities working on carbon footprints and 3 payment institutions implementing agricultural policies, will constitute an AI-supported carbon map of IPARD enterprises with literature and parameter determination, training materials, training/demonstration and carbon monitoring activities for the 'Zero Carbon' concept for enterprise and institution staff. Finally, a carbon footprint calculation tool, e-learning platform and policy recommendations will be created.
▶Impact
As a result of the project, an AI-supported carbon map, footprint calculation tool, e-learning platform containing open-source educational content, good practice examples and policy recommendation reports will be created. In addition, concrete changes in the carbon footprint of enterprises will be monitored and the results will be evaluated. In this way, IPARD enterprises and employees will be able to develop their carbon management and footprint calculation in line with the current conjuncture.
