Objectives

This project aims to raise awareness of marine pollution, empower young people, encourage community engagement, and promote sustainable solutions. By equipping youth with knowledge, advocacy skills, and hands-on experience, the project strengthens their role in marine conservation and policymaking. Through training, action-oriented activities, and collaboration, participants will be inspired to lead environmental initiatives, advocate for change, and contribute to a sustainable future.

Activities

The project will include training sessions, field activities, advocacy workshops, and awareness campaigns. Participants will learn about marine biodiversity, circular economy principles, and waste reduction strategies. They will engage in coastal clean-ups, data collection, and policy discussions while developing youth-led initiatives. Through digital tools, networking, and stakeholder engagement, the project will foster long-term collaboration and community-driven action.

Impact

The project will produce educational resources, an e-learning platform, a youth declaration and an event. It will enhance youth leadership, promote sustainable habits, and strengthen environmental networks. Participants will gain advocacy skills, practical experience, and policy engagement opportunities, ensuring a lasting impact. The project will also influence local, national, and EU policies on marine litter and sustainability, fostering youth-led change in environmental governance.
