Objectives

Stories of Work empowers refugees and migrants in Belgium and Finland to share their employment and entrepreneurship journeys through digital storytelling. The project builds confidence, communication, and digital skills, promotes inclusion and diversity, and equips educators with innovative tools that connect storytelling with integration and career guidance. By sharing authentic refugee stories, the project fosters empathy, dialogue, and inclusion in European communities.

Activities

The project combines local and transnational learning. Partners will run 15 local storytelling workshops, then meet in Brussels for an LTTA to record podcasts together. Zone Femmes will finalise production and editing of 6 episodes. Results will be shared in a joint online webinar where the Storytelling Toolkit will be launched. Dissemination uses Spotify, YouTube, TikTok, EPALE, and EPRP.

Impact

The project will deliver 6 podcasts, a Storytelling Toolkit, and a widely accessible webinar. Refugees and migrants will gain visibility, confidence, and employability competences. Educators will acquire transferable storytelling methods. Local communities, employers, and stakeholders will gain awareness of refugee skills and resilience, fostering empathy, dialogue, and inclusion across Europe.
