The Civic Math project aims to foster active citizenship and enhance critical thinking by integrating mathematical reasoning with civic education. Through innovative training modules, workshops, and accessible resources, the project equips youth workers to engage young people in applying math to societal challenges, promoting civic participation, media literacy, and improved youth work quality across Europe.

We will conduct co-creation workshops to design a curriculum integrating civic education and mathematics, develop online training modules for youth workers, and pilot these modules for feedback. Local workshops will engage youth in interactive activities, while a dissemination campaign and national events will share results. An impact analysis and sustainability strategy will ensure long-term use and integration of the project outcomes.

The project will produce several key results: • A curriculum linking civic education with mathematics for non-formal education. • Interactive online training modules for youth workers, integrating civic participation through math. • A white paper summarising the project's insights and impact, promoting math-driven civic education. • An implementation guide to ensure long-term use and adaptation of the curriculum. • An impact analysis report evaluating project success and outcomes.
