Objectives

The COCO project aims to promote the social and professional inclusion of young people in vulnerable situations through food-related pathways implemented in common spaces across Europe. It is structured around three objectives: remobilizing and boosting the confidence of young people through diagnostics and mobilization workshops, developing their practical and transversal skills to facilitate access to employment, and equipping common spaces to become sustainable support environments.

Activities

CoCo conducts local diagnostics to identify barriers and levers for inclusion in 5 countries, organizes youth mobilization workshops on food-related issues for vulnerable groups, holds a transnational seminar to develop an educational module, offers European mobility opportunities for young people in vulnerable situations, and ensures the dissemination of results through runacommon.eu and local dissemination events.

Impact

The expected results of CoCo include 5 territorial diagnostics, the implementation of 4 food-related mobilization workshops involving 100 young people over the course of the project, as well as the development of their skills and the strengthening of their confidence. For the common spaces, the project aims to produce transferable educational tools, reinforcing their role as learning environments and spaces for intercultural exchange between young people and European partners.
