โ–ถObjectives

The project aims to strengthen digital skills in vocational education and training, with a particular focus on the use of AI. The curriculum, course materials and proposed methodology should enable employees, trainees and educational institutions to teach the specific AI skills that will allow people to master the new job requirements in an AI-influenced world and secure their future employability.

โ–ถActivities

An analysis of literature, applications and needs has informed the development of a competency model that describes the skills required for the meaningful integration of AI and its applications into daily work processes. To teach these skills, the project is creating a curriculum that includes micro-credentials. Quality assurance is being carried out through pilot projects in Future Skills Labs. The outcome will be a report containing recommendations for transfer measures.

โ–ถImpact

Expected outcomes include a validated competency model, a 6โ€“8 module curriculum, micro-credentials for recognition purposes, case studies from pilot projects and a catalogue of recommended actions. These results will be published as Open Educational Resources (OER) and disseminated across Europe within the education, business and political sectors. The project is expected to have its greatest impact on vocational training. Transfer to other areas of education should also be possible.
