Objectives

The project addresses the need for innovative, inclusive, and engaging tools to help youth workers improve youth well-being and environmental stewardship. It aims to equip youth workers in the Netherlands, Spain, Croatia, and Italy with VR tools that enhance nature intelligence (NQ), support mental and social well-being, and foster sustainability. The project will identify needs, co-develop VR tools, raise awareness, and influence policies for long-term impact.

Activities

The project includes research, VR tool development, training, and advocacy. Under WP2, activities focus on needs assessments for young people and youth workers, a study on VR’s benefits and risks, and the definition of learning objectives. WP3 covers VR design, development, testing, and accessibility. WP4 includes training materials, ToT sessions, and e-learning modules. WP5 ensures dissemination and policy influence through social media, regional and national engagement, and final conferences.

Impact

The project will equip youth workers in the Netherlands, Spain, Croatia, and Italy with inclusive and innovative VR tools to enhance nature intelligence, youth well-being, and sustainability. It will improve understanding of young people’s needs and youth workers’ capacities, create VR tools aligned with the NQ model, promote active use of VR in youth work, raise awareness among stakeholders, and positively influence policy discussions for broader adoption.
