▶Objectives
The main objective of the project “Care & Work: Caring and Working Without Burnout” is to improve conditions for informal carers – especially women aged 50+ – in balancing care for a loved one with employment, and to support their inclusion in the labour market through modern and flexible educational tools. This project is clearly embedded in the Adult Education sector, providing accessible and practical learning opportunities for a disadvantaged group.
▶Activities
The project will comprise three main activities: 1. Training and support for informal caregivers, including the provision of individual guidance to enhance their caregiving skills and foster their inclusion in the labour market 2. The Care & Work digital section within the SILVERGON Careplan application, offering educational materials and an advisory service 3. Dissemination of results, awareness-raising, and exchange of experiences through a multiplier event and a targeted marketing campaign
▶Impact
We expect to achieve the following results: • Delivery of webinars for informal caregivers • Provision of individual support through an online advisory service • Implementation of the pilot programme "Intern" • An operational "Care & Work" digital section featuring practical tools and educational outputs • Increasing the competences of informal caregivers and improving the availability of support tools • Increased awareness of the needs of informal caregivers
