Multisport Coaches across Europe

The project aims to support mobility of grassroots sports coaches from different disciplines and multisport contexts, who spent a period abroad at the Partner organizations, thus encouraging the acquisition of new knowledge and skills and therefore thus facilitating personal and professional development, employability and integration in the European sport system.17 coaches from 4 multisport organizations – Aalborg Boldspliklub af 1885, Sport club “LEVSKI – Sport for all”, A.S.D. Lazio Hockey Prato Giovani and Sporting Foundation spend a period abroad at 3 host organization - Sport club “LEVSKI – Sport for all”, A.S.D. Lazio Hockey Prato Giovani and Sporting Foundation and exchange experiences and good practices regarding different aspects affecting the host organizations life.The aims were achieved through the observation, identification, promotion and exchange of experiences and good practices regarding different aspects (training, equipment, safety, social inclusion, equal opportunities, fight discrimination, sustainability of grassroots sport, management, history, authorities relations) affecting host organizations life.During the period abroad, coaches got in touch with the reality of another organization. They participated in 10 training sessions, 3 matches, 2 sports museums, 1 Olympic committee, 1 sports school, 5 stadiums, 10 multisport facilities. Moreover, they had the opportunity to take part in meetings with the staff and get to know the overall management and activities of the host organization.The project Multisport Coaches Across Europe laied the basis of a model of Multisport Coaches Mobility Programme, which could be replicated in the future.The project meet a big media interest and visibility of Partners in social media and websites – https://multisportcoaches.eu, https://www.facebook.com/multisportcoaches.eu .More than 50 stakeholders attend the Final Confernce in Sofia, during which main results of MCaE were presented – representatives of national sports organizations, Municipality of Sofia, Ministry of Sport, National sports academy “Vasil Levski” etc.; Handbook for a Multisport Coaches Mobility Programme: The handbook describing the necessaries of mobility programme for multisport coaches, the key steps for realisation through concepts, scope and objectives of Project MCaE - 2000 printed handbook, 16 pages, full colour. Distributed through the system of European Multisport Club Association.
