Good governance in sport

The #GoodGovernanceSport project is an initiative aiming to bring innovative ideas for sport organizations in Europe at local, national and European level. Project team looked to derive a roadmap with main objective to ensure the following: •Improved good governance in sport; •Better policy making through proper tools and instruments;•Strict, practical and transparent analysis of the public face of sport entities;•Promotion of good governance principles and raised awareness on the topic; •Instilling good attributes into upcoming sports leaders and supporting them;•Promotion of good governance principles and dissemination to sector stakeholders;•Raising awareness on the added value of sport and physical activities.The #GoodGovernanceSport project implemented local and international meetings and dissemination events, training sessions & has created practical self-learning path, useful Research and Handbook that all together are learning tools for stakeholders, sport organizations and sport leaders. All project results have been presented on International conference in 2021 (Sofia, Bulgaria). "Good governance in sport" project has been co-funded by Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union. The project has been delivered in the period 01/01/2018 – 30/06/2021 and includes 7 countries.
