Sport in the Environment of National Minorities – Between Integration, Assimilation and Linguistic Diversity

The aim of the project was to create the collaborative partnerships between sports clubs, which are active in the social environment of different national and ethnic minorities.Networking among 5 partners started with the several transnational project meetings organized by each partner. The participants were not only the project staff, but also sport trainers and volunteers. Each meeting lasted 3 days and there were about 12-15 people attending.To strengthen the cooperation, the partnership developed:- an Internet contact platform. The target group of this website will be all national and ethnic minorities from all Europe. - a guide "Best Practice", where all the partners presented their pattern projects, - an international children's sport meeting, for about 160 children from various national minorities, from 5 European countries and Russia.
