โ–ถSummary

Implementation was successful in all 3 European countries and 5 cities. We were able to implement more then 5 target groups divided to, ADULTS, GIRLS, PRIMARY SCHOOL KIDS, STUDENTS, PEOPLE WITH DISABILITY, TEENAGERS. Additionally one country implemented group called families, since implementation showed the need for this group and we were even able to increase the planned number of participants. Groups were determinate by experts group on beginning of the project in a way, that the group will cover general society (kids, adolescent, adult). Experts also focus on good experience and joy from sports on ice, therefore the groups were divide specifically to ensure this goal. With each country implementing the model, results showed different interests of general population in activities on ice. Each implementing country had minimum 100 hours of ice time for different target groups and we were able to increase planned number of participants to over 800 in total. In Slovenia both organizations were implementing the model on ice planned in two cities, Maribor and Bled and we added also Radovljica. It was for the first time in Slovenia that we could recruit kids from primary school of Bled during their curriculum in school to come to ice activities at the rink in Bled. After successfully implementation in Bled with primary school kids, also association called Zavod Mateza Langusa from Radovljica contacted us to implement the model there with people with mental disability. Through our head of experts, Ms Laura Rollins we copied great methodology from partner organisation from Stavanger, Norway. The success about bringing people with disability on ice was so big, that we still run the activities after finishing the project. On the other hand Maribor showed opportunity to work with university students. On the first activity came more the 100 students. Next successful group were girls who showed a lot of interested for activities on ice. Slovakia successfully implemented the model for activities on ice in two cities, Trnava and Martin. Biggest interested was shown in the group of primary school kids therefor we recognized the additional target group-families. The new established group showed interest to be on the ice together as family not separated. Similar to Bled and Radovljica also Trnava had group with people with disability and was also a success and activities are still in progress under the partners organization with cooperation of City of Trnava. Bulgaria successfully implemented the model in one city, Sofia. However city of Varna and organization Ice sports Club Varna that was partner organization at the beginning of the project despite the hard work invested in the project idea technical condition of the ice rink in Varna did not let them continue. However they tried to implement the model on the roller skates did not meet with the interest of public. Due to this condition partners consortium decided to change the partner. Implementation with new partner was successful in Sofia in two different ice rinks.
