β–ΆSummary

Project M-SAR has been realised as the international Cooperation and Small Collaborative Partnership of Croatian, Slovak and Spanish Mountain Search and Rescue organisations. The duration was 18 months. We have fulfilled the aim - to share and compare the approach and methods of Mountain Search and Rescue (M-SAR) activities. All the participants have gained new, updated, innovative skills and competences for the lifesaving. We have enhanced public to practice safe physical activity. We provided the training to the public, so they gained basic M- SAR skills and some of them have joined the M-SAR SPORT competitions. We have encouraged the public to practise different sport activities in the mountains, beneficial to their health – so, we have encouraged sport for all, all ages people have practised healthy physical activities in the mountains - in a safe way. Our project has supported the mobility of volunteers (M-SAR trainers and managers) of non-profit sport organisations. We think, that disciplines of mountain rescue Sport can be practised and developed only under the guidance of well-prepared trainers. To train them was our second aim. We have provided international training in M-SAR skills and methodical work for professionals and volunteers of M-SAR organisations. The project met several objectives of EU polices in the field of sport as well as other polices. We believe it was innovative as for the physical activity dedicated to Mountain Search and Rescue – combining mountains sports – touristic, climbing, ice-climbing, skiing, hill running, ...and meaningful life-saving activity. The 3 partners combination was unique in our region and have brought EU added values. We have realised all previously planned activities: I. Analysis - National reports – good and bad practise II. Preparatory management meetings III. M-SAR weeks IV. Awareness rising activities V. Monitoring and Evaluation VI. Dissemination All the activities have been realised on local-regional, national but also international level. The key activities were M-SAR weeks. There were 3 times – 3 activities of M-SAR week. They were realised for 5 days in each of the participating countries. During this activity the trainers of M-SAR have attended the common international meetings, discussions, seminars, workshops and specific trainings – in order to train them to be more professional and also to create one common pilot program for the Training of M-SAR skills to public - in order to encourage them to practise mountains sports safely and to learn basic M-SAR skills. Project implementation have brought its results and outputs. Dissemination activities were shared on all levels (regional, national, international) among all the target groups - other members of M-SAR organisations and related Sport clubs - via information sessions, discussions, work meetings, conferences and with public via public presentations, events, film festival, on sport actions realised by other institutions, including Publicity activities. Outcomes about the project and about the Contribution from Erasmus + program with the logos - were places at all the places of project realisations and all (internet and printed materials) - clearly visible.
