Summary

In the first phase of the project, theoretical aspect of the project was carried out involving all partners in executing desk and field research on state of art of PAHP for employees in each partner country. Joint analysis was done by Polish partner INT.Following activities took place:•A collaborative approach and shared responsibility were agreed•Steering committee of all the partners’ organizations representatives was appointed•Task Planning Document was acceppted•Research Plan&Tools (Questionnaire) was designed•Desk and field research concerning the analysis of situation and current measures in all the partner countries, with examples of best practices•Analysis of results and assessmentFollowing outcomes were reached: •General situation and current measures and possibilities for implementation PAHP into businesses in partners countries•Identification of known best practices and initiatives•Identification of needs of target groups•Mapping of stakeholdersIn second phase, Practical part of the project was initiated on the basis of the preliminary phaseFollowing outcomes were reached:•Establishing a network of stakeholders including supporters in process and beneficiaries•Presentation of the project to the target groups and general public•Establishing cooperation with businesses•Preparation of flexible model of PAHP•Implementation of PAHP into businesses•Execution of workshops for employees•Evaluation and monitoring of implementation of PAHP in the businesses•Final analysis. We compared pre/post research results. Finally, we elaborated the Recommendations and guidance based on our project insights.General outcomes refer to PAHP activities aimed at rising awareness on the issue targeting various target groups: businesses, general public, public institutions, employees, and their families, etc. For that purpose, multiplier sport events were organized, and promotional materials issued: •18 Face to face presentations and update meetings with different stakeholders directly involving 448 persons, over 70 representatives of NGO’s (sport)•4 online presentations and update meetings involving 103 participants•1 online Final Conference involving 63 participants across EU countries•1 international Conference, Presidency Conference 2020 Partnerships for Physical Activity and Sport by Deutcher Turner Bund, involving 276 participants, 200 different organisations from 54 countries•over 2000 printouts (flyers, broshures), 100 booklets (Guidebook), over 1200 pieces of promotional clothing, over 500 pieces of other promotional material was distributed.•Newspaper articles•Radio presentation and interviews•890 persons were directly participating to face to face or online presentations, over 350 of them representative of NGO’s and other organizationsThe project has achieved social inclusion and equal opportunities through:•Increased involvement in PAHP•Activation of different stakeholders in common objective•Raising awareness about healthy lifestyle•Implementation of activities•Involving marginal social groupsSpecific outcomes being reached:•Increased number of employees who are physically active and eating healthy•1252 employees were involved in practical implementation activities, at least 5000 were involved indirectly (employee’s families, friends)•Implementation of PAHP measures within specific settings (businesses)•Increased social responsibility of corporative management and individuals towards employees and society.Overall project was executed as planed. Results, acquired knowledge, derived solutions, feedback from target groups, are very positive and encouraging, giving us basis for further dissemination and development of solutions tackling issue of PAHP.
