Background Play’In Together was a consortium-led project gathering 9 partners from all over Europe that all had a very high level of knowledge and competencies in the field of sport and a particular interest on the question of disability. Implemented between 2019-2022, the project banked on cooperative processes and activities to develop sports-based pedagogical content and tools promoting the inclusion of children with disabilities (aged 6 to 12) and the training of hundreds of teachers and educators. Objectives The global objective of the project was to accompany societies toward greater inclusion of all persons with disabilities thanks to the promotion of Olympic, Paralympic and European values in sport games; by (1) promoting a change in perspective towards disability amongst young European; (2) strengthening self-confidence of children with disabilities, offering them adapted activities; and (3) allowing all children, regardless of their situation, to participate together in the same sport games. Implementation Play’In Together was implemented through structured, informed, cyclic and collective processes: informed pedagogical were co-created and tailored to countries' contexts. Further dissemination was ensured through Sports Events and a Dissemination Toolkit, as well as publication of the toolkits on PLAY international's media online library, freely accessible.
