Sport is All
โถSummary
The project intends to highlight how sport can have an impact on society. Sport is a very powerful tool to create social inclusion, especially from people with disabilities who can help the inclusion process also in everyday life. Nowadays, but only globally, Olympics and Paralympics seem to have a similar resonance because of a shared logic and organization, while at the local level, we can't say the same thing. That is why the network is composed by the Applicant FISDIR from Italy, ANDDI from Portugal and a Swimming Club Zadar Croatia. All of these are sport networks and organizations who work with people with disabilities. The aim of the project is to present their activities not only in other countries but also among target groups such as schools and recreational centers. The message is "There is no difference in sport, no matter the disability or obstacle".The international events will be structured in a tour of delegations composed by disabled athletes and operators, who will tour between schools, centers and the cities identified by the national partner. First all the partners will visit schools and act as testimonials of the importance of playing sports, no matter the disability or obstacle. Then there will be small tournaments of the specific sport for which the partners have been selected, that are: Table Tennis (Italy), Swimming (France), Athletics (Portugal). In these events, there will be disabled athletes and operators, who will take note of how the other partners approach their mission: there will also be training sessions, in which the partners will exchange their practices. The results will be the most important part of the project, and a web platform will be created where, thanks also to the contacts with other major European organizations, all the good practices will be shown. This platform will serve as a way to get in touch with every other country, but also to strengthen the message of sport as one of the main tools for social inclusion
