Summary

Active project was carried on by AICEM, Croce Rossa, Sójovem, ASKT and the added partner Foundation of Athletic Bilbao FC.The team was composed by Sara Massini project coordinator (changed after first 6 months of project for leaving of the previous one) Alessia De Iulis in charge of the general management, quality and monitoring of the project, of collecting good practices in Italy; Luís Ramalho in charge of coordinating the general research of collecting good practices for all partners, was also responsible for the entire evaluation of the project; Iñigo López Menéndez that contributed to prepare part of the educational programme for volunteers and look for good practice in Spain; Linda Rombolà (hired by Red Cross for the project) in charge to create the programme, and support the organization of the final event to share the results of the project. The main objectives reached are:•creation and testing of an educational programme to train volunteers able to organize sport activities in disadvantageous neighborhood and small villages. •enhanced the possibility to access to the sport field for young people living in disadvantaged neighborhood and small villages as a way to promote social inclusion. About the concrete development of the activities we were able to implemented the following:1. Kick off meeting online to get to know the partners, divide roles concretely, plan and fix internal deadline (6-8 february 2019)2. Identification and sharing of good practices (February-September 2019)3. Partner meeting to prepare the training programme (Spain 12-13 November 2019)4. International meeting for multipliers, inviting young people interested in sports to be trained in using the toolkit at national level – step one; (Italy-Rome 10-13 December 2019)5. National events/programme: everyone in his/her country experimented the activity as a pilot; (in the three countries from January 2020 to January 2021).6. International meeting for multipliers, that invited participants to the step one phase to be trained in using the toolkit at national level – step two; (Portugal 18-20 June 2021)7. Raising awareness campaign (online )8. Final conference. (Italy 26-27 June 2021)However, during the partner meeting in Spain, some changes were introduced. The Spanish partner, decided that he would like to introduce a meritocracy system through which only the participants that really implemented the pilot activity would have been allowed to participate in the rest of the project. All the partners agreed. This lead to loose some participants attending the first training course and have all the people that were involved and trained during the implementation of the pilot activities taking their place. To be sure of the impact and the effectiveness of our project we constantly evaluated the activities. We keep the conversation through online apps updating each other following a specific timeline related to the mail steps of the project and this enabled organizations and participants to express their views and feedback openly. In the end only Luis Ramallo and his mentees completed the pilot activites and were allowed to continue the project. Another important aspect related to the impact was the dissemination one. We reached more people and got it using media tools: website and social. The final outcomes of the project: ●a set of good practices collected in the first phase of the project, the educational toolkit and 24 trained volunteers able to act as multipliers.competences and experiences acquired by the participants through the training course and the local activities, better knowledge about opportunity offered by Erasmus+ sport program, challenges and risks.
