The first of these was the launch conference of the project that took place on May 23 in Tg-Jiu. The conference was attended by representatives of: partner organizations, local authorities, educational institutions, sports clubs, NGOs, media, as well as other interested persons in the event. The conference aimed to officially launch the project and present future activities. After the launch conference, a working meeting was organized together with the partner organizations to plan in detail the following activities. The second activity within the project was the training course attended by 5 representatives of each partner organization and aimed at preparing them for organizing sporting activities in the local communities of which they are part. The third activity was the European Competition, that is 3 days of sport competitions (cross, cycling, oina) attended by over 300 people of all ages. The event aimed to promote the practice of sports in general regardless of age and the promotion of traditional sports. Each partner organization has developed a similar competition in the local community, being practiced both modern and traditional sports (scoutball, topka, football, handball etc). In total, more than 1100 people were involved in sporting events, ranging in age from 5 to 65 years. The last activity within the project was the final conference, during which the results were obtained disseminated to the present guests (local authorities, sports clubs, educational institutions, media, NGOs, etc.).Besides the activities mentioned above, there were extensive activities to promote and disseminate the project. There were used both methods of promotion in the online environment (constant posts on social networks: facebook and instagram, posts on sites managed by the partners involved, online platform specially created for the project, video materials on the YouTube channel of the Scout Society, creation of special events on facebook, press articles posted by press agencies on their platforms) as well as in the offline environment (participation in TV shows, articles in print media, events within educational institutions, promotion in shopping centers - Shopping City Tg -Jiu, promotion in international events-Word Scout Jamboree, use of different inscribed materials such as T-shirts, roll-ups, maps, pens), so that the project has enjoyed visibility within local communities and not only. The results analyzed at the end of the implementation period together with our partners indicated that the initial objectives were achieved, the communities in which the project activities were carried out were very receptive and actively involved, so that we can consider this project a success.
