Background Ok Porters is a project borned to work on the goalkeeper roller hockey role and for the improvement of these specific coaches and the learning environment, through the creation of an exchanging sport community able to learn one from each other based on experiences and capacities developed in the years. Objectives The project main scope is to stimulate children participation in health-enhancing physical activities and sense of belonging through voluntary activities by means of increasing attractiveness and quality of skating. To achieve this objective, the proposal involves three kinds of target groups: children aged 5-8 years old; beginner-level coaches; children families (and their schools). Implementation According to its name, the project main scope was, from one hand, to stimulate children participation in skating / roller hockey and in sport in general under a positive-oriented approach (thus reducing drop-off), and, from another, to exploit knowledge from the Partners to increase quality standards in training proposals addressing a specific role: the goalkeepers one. All this by improving sport environment, increasing sense of belonging and volunteers participation. Achievements It represented an important laboratory to test a new teaching method resulted from the sharing of good practices and experiences among partners.Thanks to the Partners simultaneously implementation of training modules and the collection of data that allowed evidence of improvements and impacts achieved, the project standardised a children-oriented teaching method, that capitalised the best techniques developed by the Partners. Children improved their capacities and coaches improved their expertis
