Background Following conclusions of the previous E+ EMoCS project, partners signed a declaration of intent in 2018 committing them to reflect on the establishment of a European scheme to certify companies offering physical activity to their employees This decision to implement a European certification around PA at work was made following discussions and studies with companies-end users expressing their need to have a standard - reference on this topic as well the need to uniformise national initiatives. Objectives WAC intended to contribute to the European effort to further raise awareness of the importance of health-enhancing PA throughout increased participation in and equal access to sport for all, particularly at the workplace.Precisely, it aimed at:> Providing further information, data and keytools to employers regarding PA> Creating a credible, durable, reliable and certification programme for workplaces at European level regarding PA at work> Engaging companies in the certification process Implementation WAC followed 6 phases :1/Collect information to feed the certification process design2/Achieve a significant program and action plan for certification scheme3/Conduct experience and pilot test to validate orientations and strategy of the certification process4/Create the finale certification process and engage companies into it5/Formalise, structure and animate a network of stakeholders involved around the certification process6/Ensure the project's legacy through sustainability actions Achievements - A complete research phase - 27 pioneer companies from 7 countries - 42 experts from 11 countries, to analyse and develop the criteria - 4 mainstream events: * WAC conference in Nov. 2021 (53person)* French Presidency of the EU conference in June 2022 (73Person)* WAC awards ceremony in Oct. 2022 (47 person)* WAC workshop with EFCS members in Nov. 2022 (31person)- 13 awarded organisations - A sustainable European certification recognized by the companies- Communication toolkit
