Three- Points Shot to Health
โถSummary
Background The '3-Points-Shot to Health' (3-PSH) project is coordinated by Karasu Youth, Art and Sport Club Association (KARGENC CLUB), in partnership with Rijeka Sport's Association, Bulgarian Sports Development Association and Associazione Sportiva Dilettantistica Margherita Sport e Vita Basket. Our project is an Erasmus+ Sports Small cooperation partnership project implemented between 01/01/2020- 31/12/2021 (our project has been extended for 12 months). Objectives - To develop methods to prevent the health problems faced by young basketball players during their development. -To provide training to coaches from 4 partner countries on strengthening the muscles and joints that are the most injured in basketball. - To enable coaches and experts to work together to produce applications that will increase the capacity of the relevant muscle and joint groups. - To deliver the developed applications to large audiences and to enable more trainers to use them. Implementation The Kick-off Meeting, which is the beginning of the project, was held in september in Bulgaria. After KOM, our activities were stopped during implementation due to COVID-19 restrictions affecting all of Europe. For this reason, we extended the project period for 6 months and then another 6 months; After all, we had an extension for another 12 months. After the TPMs held in Rijeka in July 2021, in Sakarya in September 2021 and in Bari in October 2021, we completed our project on 31/12/2021. Achievements The project was completed with KOM in Bulgaria and a TPM in other countries. The training methods developed as a result of the project were made into a booklet. Training methods are also presented to the use of trainers with a total of 9 training videos containing different drills for each region. In addition, special project films have been designed for the general introduction of each TPM and project.
