Summary

Background The idea of the project was created on the basis of observations, the result of which was the assumption that in large European cities, residents struggle with information noise and an excess of information. Not all information about particular areas of functioning in the city reach the residents in the right way. The challenge in the project was - how to reach out residents and provide them with sports offer. In a result the web platform with sports offer was created. Objectives The main objectives of the project were: 1.Creation of the web platform providing information about sports activities offered to residents from Gdańsk (Poland), Lisbon (Portugal), Barcelona (Spain), Novi Sad (Serbia).2.Creation of “Library of the best cross-sectoral cooperation practices in the field of sports offer for citizens”based on criterias established by the partners in the beginning of the project. It includes practices gathered in partners’ countries (Poland, Portugal, Spain, Serbia) Implementation Project implementation was divided into 5 work packages: 1.Project management – led by the coordinator2.Communication and dissemination – informing about activities 3.Best practices identification – creation of library of best practices4.Active citizens network creation – creation of web platform 5.Evaluation –quality control by coordinatorAll activities led to results: web platform with sports offer for citizens and library of the best practices in the field of sports offer for citizens Achievements Tangible results: -Web platform with sports offer for citizens from Gdańsk, Lisbon, Barcelona, Novi Sad-link www.uactiv.pl-Library of the best cross-sectoral practices in the field of sports offer for citizensIntangible results:For inhabitants: facilitating access to information about the sports offer,better access - greater attendance, interest and knowledge,social inclusionFor stakeholders: increase of knowledge in the field of sports offer for citizens and management of sports facilities
