Background Today thereΒ΄s no special trainer license obtainable for street workout as a sport. It might be considered as prevention measure if trainer not only conveys the correct performing of exercises, but also creates awareness of possible injuries and the associated prevention strategies. There is a need to perform sports movements and exercises correctly, thus minimizing the possibility of injuries. Knowledge about injury prevention and its handling might reduce consequential damage. Objectives The Street Workout ACadEmy (ACE) project aimed to provide the prerequisites for effective prevention of injuries for street workout practitioners and young people by creating and testing an innovative training program for street workout coaches. Improve qualifications and competencies of coaches in non-formal and informal youth training - how to sport safely, how to eliminate risk of injury, and how to pass on the acquired knowledge and techniques to teammates and followers. Implementation The project succeeded to implement all planned activities - 4 meetings of the PMT; 2 studies on best practices and own experience; 1 training program for coaches; 1 local test of the program; 30 trained young coaches; 3 Meetings and discussions, analysis of results; 30 developed plans of trained coaches; 2 demonstrations of mastery techniques; 3 events with demonstrations; 3 press conferences; 1 conference on "Safety challenges in street workout trainings"; 1 International Safe Street Festival Achievements 4 meetings of the PMT; 2 studies on best practices and own experience; 1 training program for coaches; 1 local test of the program; 30 trained young coaches; 3 Meetings and discussions, analysis of results; 30 developed plans of trained coaches; 2 demonstrations of mastery techniques; 3 events with demonstrations; 3 press conferences; 1 conference on "Safety challenges in street workout trainings"; 1 International Safe Street Festival
