Background The background of the project is certainly the European tradition of street games, with particular reference to Sicilian ones. It focused on a model of sport for all, enhanced by the various experiences possessed by the various partners, which were shared with a view to mutual growth. Objectives Gasp's objectives were multiple and all interrelated. The commitment to the rediscovery of traditional Sicilian and European street games was not just an end. They acted as a vehicle to promote a model of open-air sport for all with no barriers to entry. Another objective achieved was the creation of intergenerational bonds between young and old through the practice of games together and the fascinating tales of the peculiarities of the various eras and localities in which they were played. Implementation After the training phase for coaches, held by experts from Cus Palermo, each partner implemented a course on traditional games with approximately 20 participants, in principle 50/50 gender balance, with no age limit. Afterwards, each organization signed memoranda of understanding with some of its local realities to disseminate the project results by organizing thematic days. A fathers and sons event was held in Bari and the big final event in Murcia with hundreds of young people involved. Achievements Many people including project coaches, schoolteachers, young students and university students, the elderly, children and parents were trained in traditional street games and enjoyed having fun together, creating bonds that remain strong and firm even today, after the project ended. Some of the organizations introduced the teaching of traditional games into their daily lives after the project experience. This project also served to create a mini network of stakeholders in traditional street game.
