URBAN SPORT AS SOCIAL INCLUSION
▶Summary
Background Urban Sports activities play indeed a vital role in promoting social integration, particularly among young people. Not many years ago, urban sports were considered leisure activities with which to spend time, mainly carried out by young people. We define Urban Sports and New Trends as all those controlled risk sports, related to leisure activities and with some sports component, whose practice is subject to spaces and conditions given by the city. Objectives •To encourage the healthy practice of urban sports and outdoor activities on young people.•To share good practice related Urban Sports. •To elaborate e-book of good practices on urban sport as social inclusión.•To awareness-raising activities in the local community of the partner about urban sports.•To create a Urban sport day in each country to promote the urban sports and give•To increase the synegies with and between, local and regional stakeholders to promote Urban Sports Implementation Develop project control and management of the project coordinated by COMPASS.Develop Communication, visibility and dissemination activities during the life of the projectResearch of Best Practices and create E-book related to urban sport in the partner countriesCreate a Urban Sport TC in Slovenia to teach sport coaches how to use urban sport as social inclusion tool.Develop 3 Urban Sport Local Activities in each partner country (Total 15)International meetings in Hungary, Turkey, Spain Achievements our results:- 15 best practices on urban sports- 297 participants in 3 sport local activities in 5 countries.- 236 participants took part in the awareness campaigns.- 5 awareness campaign- 15 new organisations with which synergies have been developed.- 45 people took part in the urban sport conference in Spain- 3 transnational project meetings- 1 Training Course with 15 participants- 1 web (https://urbansports.mu.edu.tr/en)
