Summary

Background We, the Paradicsom Touristic, Cultural and Sport Club have been active in barrier-free programs in the fields of sport and culture. Our mission is to promote and facilitate the development of programs and initiatives that are accessible to people with disabilities. We participated in several events in recent years to learn from good examples in other countries and organizations. We believe that it is critical to raise awareness about the importance of inclusivity in all aspects of society. Objectives The program’s main objective is to increase accessibility for people living with disabilities. The goal is to make it as easy as possible for everyone to participate in sports and to provide support for those who may find it more challenging. Through this program, we hope to make sports accessible to a wider range of people and promote a more inclusive society. Furthermore, the program also aims to gain international experience and best practices in the field of inclusive sports. Implementation The partners of the program utilized online communication methods to stay in touch and coordinate the program throughout its duration. The regular online meetings allowed the partners to work together efficiently and enabled them to get to know each other. Also, the questionnaire served this purpose as well. The most significant aspect of the program’s implementation was a two-week traveling exhibition and conference, followed by the collection of experiences and feedback from participants. Achievements The objectives of the program were fully achieved, providing the organization with valuable international practices and experiences in organizing a large international program. A summary publication and a short summary film have been produced to document the program’s achievements. The traveling exhibition was covered in media, providing exposure and visibility. Overall, the program was successful in achieving its goals and will continue to have a positive impact on the community it serves.
