Integrated Sport Educational Plan to tackle Racism of Youth

Background Corresponding to the European Union Work Plan for Sport (2017-2020), the White Paper for Sport (COM (2007) 391 final) and the Communication on Developing the European Dimension in Sport (COM/2011/0012 final), “Integrated Sport Educational Plan to tackle Racism of Youth” deeply concerns about growing numbers of European citizens, especially young, who become more and more racism victims while at the same time the inactive crisis is developed. Objectives To have the project’s diverse group of practitioners make national-level inventories of existing tools in their own countries, evaluate their usefulness, and work as a creative group to meet unmet needs with new tool modalities, or upgrades to existing tools. To turn young NGOs into analysts of their operations in terms of governance, structuring, management, funding -and other resource- seeking, etc. To help NGOs in youth work discover the importance of their role in “early-stage diverting”. Implementation -A 2 Project Kit Development including: a. a Research on sport against racism best practice tools conducted at national level in 5 countriesb. a Best practices e-book with tools and project learnings around Racism Prevention through Sports. This document will be a guide for all Sport Ambassadors to each country-a 2-day Study Visit in a sport club in Serbia with youth workers-a Partners’ Mutual Training Activity in Slovenia - 5 local training events -“Sport Amity Representatives” Activities Achievements 1. 2 Project Kit Development including: a. a Research on sport against racism best practice tools conducted at national level in 5 countriesb. a Best practices e-book with tools and project learnings around Racism Prevention through Sports.
