European system for training of sport climbing coaches and route setters

The project focuses on the area of dynamically developing sport - sport climbing. In view of the growing popularity of this sport, however, the systematic training of coaches and route setters has not yet been treated in most European countries. Despite the fact these two key professions determine the quality of all sport climbing.The main project objective is to set up and implement European system of preparation of sport climbing Coaches and route setters as well as platform of national association which will provide and guarantee the continuity of the training system in future. This objective will be achieved in particular through the cooperating platform. Within the main goal, the project will focus mainly on following partial goals:- Analysis of good practice I training the sport climbing coaches and select the most appropriate methods- Define the design of the whole training system- Create training programmes for key actors within this system- Pilot the training programmes- Realize kick off activities to start the implementation- Develop learning management system for the whole training system.
